About the Event
This year, we're honoring Juneteenth—which commemorates June 19, 1865,  the date enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were told they  were free, more than two full years after the Emancipation Proclamation  was signed—with a special evening to celebrate the Black professional  network in Minneapolis. Accenture’s African American Employee  Resource Group in collaboration with the National Society of Black  Engineers, the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery  and Meda, will host a unique in-person celebration that will include a  facilitated panel discussion on building sustainable equity in the  community, local Black Entrepreneur Business Booths, professional  headshots, food, drink and music.
